Nature has already woken from its hibernation. Now it’s time that you do too! Spring is the best opportunity to increase your well-being.

Natural sunlight increases vitality and health.

It brightens the mood. Artificial light cannot replace natural light.
“Nature activities” are particularly good for your positive radiation.
Sunlight acts like a medicine and may even act as a natural doping agent.
Researchers were only able to prove a few years ago why this is so. The retina of the eye does not only contain cells that are used for vision.There are special receptors that pick up light rays and transmit them to the inside of the brain. This then sends an impulse to the pineal gland, which then begins to stop the production of the tiring hormone melatonin. At the same time, the production of the wake-up messenger cortisol as well as the “good mood” hormone serotonin and dopamine is initiated. The result: We feel awake, fit and full of energy. Doctors agree: sunlight releases positive emotions and balances the psyche. It makes us healthy and happy and increases our self-confidence and vitality.


  • Try to be in the fresh air for at least 10 minutes in the morning.
  • Go outside in the lunch break
  • Provide the best possible lighting in enclosed spaces
  • Have plants in your office
  • Have your vitamin D status checked out regularly
  • Spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors

So the bottom line is:
Go out, even in bad weather. There is still enough “good mood light” coming through the cloudy sky!
