The heart of the hotel is the Restaurant DUKE with its 65 seats and open show kitchen, which is linked to the DUKE Bar & Lounge and the unique ELLINGTON Summer Garden by a clever counter construction. In addition, the “Private Dining-Room” offers twelve seats in a private atmosphere.
The Restaurant DUKE is a feel-good place for hotel guests and Berliners alike. Together with his team, chef de cuisine Sven Metzner presents seasonal specialties and regional delicacies with a strong sense for the essentials. During his culinary training and stations on Lake Tegernsee and in Sankt Moritz, the 33-year-old native of Berlin learned to follow the rhythm of nature and to draw his inspiration from what surrounds him. Thus, he places great value on the simplicity and seasonality of his ingredients and, together with his team, conjures up authentic, uncomplicated dishes in which the preparation and the main product are always in the foreground. Down-to-earth, but never boring. His motto: “Simply delicious”!
